Leisure
A variety of social and cultural activities are available to students throughout the week, helping them to get to know Edinburgh and Scotland. To make the most of their time in Scotland, students can also choose from overnight and day trips at the weekends to famous castles and locations such as Loch Ness.
During August Edinburgh hosts several festivals. The most famous of these are the International Festival and the Fringe Festival, which aim to be the most exciting and accessible festivals of performing arts in the world.
