Description

The Edinburgh School of English has a track record of helping students to achieve excellent examination results. This success is gained through our examination sessions which allow you to focus on exam preparation and practise areas specific to your own needs. You will be trained to communicate effectively in a wide range of themes and topics. In developing competency with the spoken test, students will be trained in social, negotiating and collaborative skills. These skills are transferable to everyday contexts, to formal study and to professional situations.
The course includes Spoken Performance Workshops to develop active expression of the language and Masterclasses which are exam practice tasks set by the teacher and monitored by active guidance. Plenary sessions consist of a morning news review and an afternoon consolidation session.
In all courses, the duration of a lesson is 60 minutes. Some lessons may be taught as 1.5 hour sessions.

Exam fee: IELTS £110 and exam entry should be booked well in advance of exam date
Exam Courses iinclude: First day welcome orientation, individual assessment of language level
and needs, regular progress tests, regular feedback with your teacher, free use of multimedia
and self-study resources, certificate of studies and report.
